Photographing theft at Flannels for Facewatch.

The Brief:

Facewatch is a UK-based facial recognition security platform used by retailers to identify and deter repeat offenders. Working through marketing consultancy XCMO, they needed commercial photography that captured the technology in a real retail environment, showing it in action rather than in a studio. The location was Flannels, the luxury fashion retailer, giving the shoot a premium backdrop that matched the quality of the product.

Production:

Chris shot across the Flannels site, capturing the Facewatch system in context, the cameras, the environment, and the discreet but effective presence of the technology within a busy retail setting. The brief required a documentary instinct as much as a commercial eye, capturing real moments in a live environment while delivering images polished enough for marketing and PR use.

Impact:

A suite of commercial photography giving Facewatch and XCMO strong, contextual imagery that shows the product working in the real world, far more persuasive for a security technology brand than anything a studio shoot could deliver.
