Of Land & Sea, Etsy Product Photography
The Brief:
Of Land & Sea is a sustainable jewellery studio based in Porthleven, Cornwall, making handcrafted pieces from recycled silver, foraged leaves, seeds, branches, found shells, and seaglass. The brand is rooted in nature, folklore, and slow living by the sea, and their Etsy store is their primary sales channel.
For an Etsy seller, product photography is everything. It's the difference between a scroll past and a click, between a browser and a buyer. The brief was to produce a suite of studio images that felt true to the Of Land & Sea world, atmospheric, nature-led, and a little bit otherworldly, while showcasing the jewellery itself with the clarity and detail that converts on e-commerce.
Production:
Shooting in studio with a carefully chosen selection of natural props, branches, leaves, foraged materials and found objects that mirror the raw ingredients Becky uses in her making process, Chris created a set of images that feel like an extension of the brand rather than a departure from it.
The approach balanced atmosphere with precision, letting the props and styling build the mood while keeping the jewellery itself sharp, detailed, and beautifully lit. The result is photography that could only belong to Of Land & Sea.
